Greetings and welcome to my site. Currently, I am working on my Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) in Baltimore, MD. I work in the Human-Centered Computing research group in the Information Systems Department.
My general research interests involve ubiquitous computing, interaction design, social computing, human-computer interaction and mobile computing.
In May 2014, I received an MS in Human Centered Computing from UMBC. I have a B.A. in Journalism and French from Indiana University as well as an MBA. I have also studied graphic design at the Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, GA.
My industry work experience includes managing information system implementations, particularly electronic medical records into ambulatory practices. I have also worked building story-based eLearning as well as commercial Web sites for the casino industry.
